I booked IIKO Mazesoba through The fork. They offered 50 percent discount for foods. Actually, this is my second time to go there. First time, I came two weeks ago and I ordered vegan Mazesoba and this time I also ordered same things. All Mazesoba is using same housemade thick noodle
Vegan Mazesoba : The noodle is housemade thick noodle with soy sauted enoki mushroom, slow roasted tomatoes,crispy onion, bambo shoots and shallots with black sesame seed and garlic oil. I loved combined of all of these except roasted tomatoes because i am not fan roasted tomatoes but prefer fresh tomatoes. Overall, I loved it
Cheese Mazesoba: special mix cheese and pork belly chashu, onsen eggs combine with shredded nori, bamboo shoots and roasted sesame seeds. She is cheese person. however, the noodle with cheese and pork is seems heavy food for her so, she was not feel like it for this food.
Dandan Mazesoba: spicy pork mince with noodle, onsen egg, shallots, shredded nori, bamboo shoots and roasted sesame. My friend love it because she told me well combined with everything. However, she also loves chasu but she thought dandan will get chasu. When we paying bills and we saw one noodle is called original.
Vegetable croquettes: I ordered vegie croquettes and taste of potato with vegie is lovely. It was not too heavy and is good eating together with my vegan noodle.
Original Mazesoba: noodle with pork belly chashu, onsen eggs, green onion , shredded nori, bamboo shoots and roasted sesame. My friend came for her second time she said it was great well mix for flavour and texture. Pork belly so tender and juicy. Portion is so right size not small or too big for her.
Zenbu Mazesoba: combine between pork mince and chasu pork belly with fish powder, corn, onsen egg, nori and sesame seeds plus shallots. My firend loves eating spicy and she chose this zenbu. My two friend food actually came first because i was late for our appointment and we had chit chat while waiting my vegan noodle. When my food came and we started to eat. However, her food was not so warm. We called one of staff to ask for heat it up noodles and this staff changed with new one because they do not have microwave. She is so nice and kind and superb customer service. Plus they let us sitting quite while because we had celebrate birthday cake and they really lovely by giving hand and also offer us small plate and spoon. Really appreciated with their lovely service and I will be back for their service and food next time.
